How many dogs will the walker handle at once?
Our walkers will take only your dog for a walk during your scheduled time. If you have more than one dog, we can walk them together.
How do dog walkers access the house?
There are several options for our walkers to access your home and can be reviewed on an individual basis. We recommend the use of a lock box but some clients prefer walkers to enter through a coded garage door or other coded lock system.
Will it always be the same walker?
We understand the importance of routine and familiarity for pets. While we do our best to provide this consistency for you and your pets, we cannot always guarantee it. When our walkers have time off or other commitments, a backup walker will be sent so as not to interrupt your schedule. All our walkers have been vetted and background checked so you can be sure your pet is in the best hands possible.
What time will my dog be walked?
You can request the time for your dog to be walked. Due to scheduling, we will then plan to walk your dog within a window around that time.
How do I know my dog has been walked?
After your dog has been walked, you will receive a visit report via our app including information from the visit as well as photos.
Do you have a cancellation fee?
For a daily visit, we appreciate clients letting us know within 24 hours of the walk / visit if we are not needed. Please contact us before 8am the morning of the walk / visit. For pet sitting / boarding / vacation appointments, please allow at least one week's notice. If no cancellation notification is given, you will be charged for that service.
Do you charge extra for weekends and holidays?
A surcharge is added to appointments made out of hours, including weekends, holidays, before 8am or after 8pm.
If my pet gets sick while I am out of town, can you take him to the vet?
When you register as a client, you will be asked to provide information about yourself and your pet. This includes emergency contact and vet details. While your pet is being boarded or we are pet sitting, we will provide you with regular updates. We care for your pets as we would our own.
How can I contact you while I am away?
Communication is through the message board on the app. Pet carers will provide clients with updates and send photos of pets while you are away. Pet owners can also message the carer with any questions or concerns.
Are you insured and bonded?
Yes, we are fully insured and bonded.
